More About Bodyweight Stars Online Group Training

What is Bodyweight Stars?

Bodyweight movement means exercises with minimal or no external props. It’s simple, portable, and meditative in it’s own way. Just you and your body. Bodyweight movement is also really hard because lifting the weight of your body is a big deal!

Bodyweight Stars will help you shine when it comes to feeling strong and free in your body. Expect creative progressions including push-ups, single leg squats, handstands, basic jumps, and don’t worry we will offer options every step of the way.

Shorter sessions more often means more small wins, confidence, mental health boost and overall joy.

Community and quality coaching means you will have other people to help you stay motivated and inspired.

The snowball effect

Never underestimate the positive effects of progressive mindful exercise on grief, loss, blahs, pandemic, and fatigue. Whatever you are going through, we know how much a dedicated program can add small wins back into your day. Small wins (like nailing a new push-up or handstand progression) turn into big wins over time. Let’s get the ball rolling.

This program is multi-level, however you must be able to get up and down from the floor easily and place your hands on the floor.

We will help you turn the intensity up or down during the live classes.

“I really love Mindful Strength and Kathryn’s awesome teachings. I have strengthened my body SO much and I love all the brilliant movements and sequences Kathryn creates for each part of the body. It is truly a remarkable, life-changing program.

“Thank you for the amazing classes, as always! I had a baby in April, and my body and capacities changed SO dramatically. It has been so great to take your classes as I started moving again — the emphasis on what you feel instead of what you do really helped me reconnect to a body that felt foreign to me.

A reminder: the word bodyweight training means moving mostly with your own body mass. We welcome all sizes and don’t make assumptions about what larger/smaller folks are capable of.

Equipment:

This program is going to be based around bodyweight exercises – meaning very little equipment is necessary.

That said, if you have weights, bands and a pull-up bar/rings bring them and we will add in some weighted bodyweight movements to help you progress.

I love just about ANYTHING that Kathryn teaches! Her depth of knowledge and laid-back style of teaching is right up my alley. Not only do I enjoy and get great benefits from both Kathryn and Kyle’s classes, but everything I learn is so wonderful to incorporate into my own yoga/movement classes.
