About Our Classes...

It’s never to early or late to be working on your strength!

At the moment we have a couple of different group programs running, read on to find the class that best suits your needs. Our classes are limited to 6 participants, please complete registration to hold your spot. At the end of the session we offer a free make-up week.

6-Week Strength Series

This class series will guide you through progressive strengthening using bodyweight exercises, bands, and free weights. Each participant will get a training journal to fill out as the weeks go on. The goal of this class series is to build strength in a balanced and functional way and enjoy the process. This class is ideal for participants who can easily get up and down from the floor.

4-Week Chair Strength

This 45-minute class is perfect for people who know they need to build strength, but need extra support along the way. Chair Strength classes include a combination of seated and standing exercises. Participants must be able to enter the studio unassisted (3 stairs), remove/change their footwear, but do not need to be able to get up and down from the floor. This class is an ideal starting place for people who have had joint replacements, arthritis, or who have bone mass concerns.

You can hang rings in many places (e.g. trees!)

If you have been dreaming about pull-ups but you need a good program to follow, classes to attend and the feeling of a group class this is for you! This session is appropriate for beginners to body weight strength training, and folks who are building this strength back up after a while.

Pull-Up Club is a 16 class series where we will gather to work on pull-ups and pulling strength as a community.  This class package includes all the recordings and written program. You are signing up for Pull-Up Club On Demand (not live classes).

Kathryn and Kyle teach this series together which means you will get different opinions on the movements and progressions. They demonstrate different variations to make the classes more accessible.

This class series is appropriate for people who have the required equipment and are keen to build up to a pull-up.

No pre-requisite movements, but expect a lot of shoulder, grip, and core strengthening.

“This membership has been a great resource for my teaching and for my own practice. Incorporating strength and mobility as well as pain science has given my movement practice meaning and direction.

Pulling and pull-ups are hard!

So many people recognize the importance of heavy pulling work, and know how great hanging is, but that doesn’t mean they are ready to start pulling-up.

Just because pull-ups and hanging are highly functional, doesn’t mean everyone can just start doing them. That’s why this program is broken down over 16 classes. At the end of the 16 classes some folks will be doing pull-ups and others will still be in a building phase. Everyone is coming to pull-up club from a different place and we celebrate that.

You will have access to the online classes and program for a full year so you can go back and repeat the sessions.

Those of you who were in handstand club – this class will have a similar feel.

I love just about ANYTHING that Kathryn teaches! Her depth of knowledge and laid-back style of teaching is right up my alley. Not only do I enjoy and get great benefits from both Kathryn and Kyle’s classes, but everything I learn is so wonderful to incorporate into my own yoga/movement classes.

– Diane Murphy
