More About Pull-Up Club Online Group Training

If you have been dreaming about pull-ups but you need a good program to follow, classes to attend and the feeling of a group class this is for you! This session is appropriate for beginners to body weight strength training, and folks who are building this strength back up after a while.

Pull-Up Club is an 8-week class where we will gather to work on pull-ups and pulling strength as a community.

Kathryn will teach one class live on Wednesdays at 12:00 pm EST.  A second class will be released each week as a recorded session you can do on your own time. During the live class, Kathryn and Kyle will teach the program, demonstrating the exercises with a few options.

Live calls will include lots of Q&A and time for discussion at the end.

This class series is appropriate for people who have the required equipment and are keen to build up to a pull-up.

No pre-requisite movements. Different variations will be demonstrated.

“This membership has been a great resource for my teaching and for my own practice. Incorporating strength and mobility as well as pain science has given my movement practice meaning and direction.

– Suzan Bauer

A Note on Equipment

It is absolutely necessary that you have a set of gymnastics rings to participate in Pull-Up Club.

A bar to hang on is a great tool, although it’s not essential. You can hang your rings over a bar, beam, or rafter in your living space, or over a tree or bar at the park. Rings must have adjustable straps.

You can hang rings in many places (e.g. trees!)

Pull-Up Club is for you if…

You know the missing link for your upper body strength is pulling.

Your body is craving new forms of movement like pulling and novel challenges.

You have been curious about pull-ups and want support on how to begin (or get back into it).

Pulling and pull-ups are hard!

So many people recognize the importance of heavy pulling work, and know how great hanging is, but that doesn’t mean they are ready to start pulling-up.

Just because pull-ups and hanging are highly functional, doesn’t mean everyone can just start doing them. That’s why this group training club is broken down over 16 classes. At the end of the 16 classes some folks will be doing pull-ups and others will still be in a building phase. Everyone is coming to pull-up club from a different place and we celebrate that.

You will hae access to the online classes and program for the rest of this year which means when our 8 weeks are over you can go back and re-do the classes if you want.

Those of you who were in handstand club – this class will have a similar feel.

I love just about ANYTHING that Kathryn teaches! Her depth of knowledge and laid-back style of teaching is right up my alley. Not only do I enjoy and get great benefits from both Kathryn and Kyle’s classes, but everything I learn is so wonderful to incorporate into my own yoga/movement classes.
