Mental Health and Movement Series

During this 3 Part Workshop Series Chris will share novel ways to use movement to boost + support mental health. There will be gentle and restorative work, as well as education around mindfulness and mental awareness; however, there will also be space for teaching movement that is considered “tougher” or “challenging”, and how that can be powerfully validating for people.

Trauma and mental health movements tend to be highly restorative. While there is value in those techniques, this series will round out the discussion and offer new ways to bring more people (and strategies) into the conversation.

Appropriate for teachers and non-teachers alike who are curious about mental health support.

**BONUS** Handstand Club

We are including Handstand Club as a bonus program you can start whenever it fits your schedule.

Handstand Club will demystify handstands and teach you how to progress in clear ways. Most people spend years kicking up to the wall, or struggling to get that first kick-up. We have been taught to over emphasize alignment and core strength, it’s no wonder so many people do not feel confident in handstands and other arm balances.

Handstand Club is an 8-week progressive class that builds a strong foundation for handstands and arm balancing. In this series you will learn in depth wrist and shoulder strength as well as balance training, and skills like rolls and cartwheels. This series was taught live from May to June, this is included in the All Access Membership as a bonus.

Includes:

  • 16 recorded classes 40-60 minutes long
  • Recorded Q&A sessions that answer FAQ’s from real students
  • Recordings of the classes will be available until July 1st 2022
  • A written program featuring photos and videos of each individual exercise
  • Progressive strength classes that require very little props
  • Classes you can download to the app and use on the go
